Occupational Therapy

Therapeutic Listening

Occupational therapy is a health profession that helps people of all ages learn or regain skills that enable them to lead independent and purposeful lives. When people are able to participate in the world around them, they live happier, healthier, and more productive lives.

At RESULTS, we offer occupational therapy services for people of all ages - infants to adults.  Therapists provide comprehensive evaluations to determine level of function and work closely with families, caregivers, and individuals to develop specific and attainable goals.  Each treatment session is designed with the individual’s desired function and goals in mind.

If you are an adult who suffers from physical or cognitive disabilities, whether it be from a work related injury, sports injury, or a neurological disorder, you will benefit from our services.  Our treatment consists of strengthening exercises, energy conservation training, manual therapy to improve range of motion, and therapeutic techniques that are then adapted to enable individuals to complete a home program to speed their recovery.  Our goal is to improve the individuals daily functions and activities, thus enabling them to be as independent as possible.

We also provide exceptional services for children aged through adolescence who are diagnosed with developmental disorders, have physical disabilities, or are recovering from injuries.  Children who have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other self-regulation related disorders will also benefit from our specialized services.  Our treatment consists of therapeutic and fun activities that motivate individuals to participate in their therapy sessions.  Education is provided to caregivers to ensure carryover to the home and school environments.

Start doing today what your pain and physical limitations won't let you - your favorite activities! With the therapy and prevention energy conservation training you will receive, you can begin to enjoy life again!
