Carol has been a physical therapist for over 18 years and is the founder of Results Physical & Occupational Therapy. She graduated from Daemen College in 1987 with a B.S, in physical therapy, and from San Marcos State University in 1990 with a master's degree in interdisciplinary studies, minoring in helathcare administration. She served as a physical therapist in the Army for four years; then spent seven years working in various rehab facilities and home health agencies, treating children and adults. In 1998, she established her own practice, specializing in older adult exercise programs, manual therapy and pediatrics. She expanded her practice to the Greater Bangor and Dexter areas in 2006.

Jessica was hired as the Director of Public Relations in April of 2007. She joins the team with 10 years of administrative and management experience. Jessica was recently promoted to Vice President of Public Relations, she is responsible for the marketing and promotions for both the Bangor and Dexter clinics. Jessica enjoys helping RESULTS stay active in community events.

Terra joined the clinic in March of 2006 as a receptionist for Horse Gait Stables. Terra has grown with the business. Once closing Horse Gait Stables Terra transferred to the Bangor office. Terra was promoted to Division 1 Department Head and then again to VPA shortly after. Terra is responsible for the hiring and training of all administrative staff and all of the entry and graphing of the statistics tracked by RESULTS.

Emily is a graduate from Dexter Regional High School and from Beal College, where she earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. She joined RESULTS in August of 2007 as a patient representative and rehab aide. Emily has over five years experience working with children of all ages and developmental abilities. She is happy to be in a position where she is interacting with a variety of patients helping them to improve their quality of life.

Stacey has spent the past 8 years managing a small non-profit therapy office in Ellsworth. Her past experience includes medical billing and bookkeeping along with all receptionist duties. She was hired as a receptionist in July 2007 and recently promoted to the Income Manager. Stacey is responsible for the medical billing and insurance claims for both the Bangor and Dexter clinics.

Shelly graduated from the University of New England with a BS degree and has been practicing as a pediatric occupational therapist for 11 years. She gained extensive knowledge of sensory processing disorders while working in a private practice clinic and then expanded her expertise in the school arena. She joined Results in 1994, and is currently providing services within the community and clinic for the pediatric population. Shelly is also a fieldwork supervisor for Husson College and Kennebec Valley Community College for OT and OTA students.

Katie joined RESULTS in September of 2006. She graduated from Husson College with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. Katie decided to come to work at RESULTS full time after completing her field work as a student under our lead OT, Shelly Vidas. Katie treats patients of all ages at the clinic and also enjoys working with children at some of the local schools and pre schools. |

Tanya worked for Central Maine Power for 17 years, until they merged with Energy East, and was one of many in their massive layoff. The layoff gave Tanya the opportunity to return to school and obtain a degree as an occupational therapy assistant. She graduated from Kennebec Valley Community College in 2007. While going to college, Tanya held many positions in the healthcare field working with children and adults. Tanya's position, at RESULTS, is working with pediatric school children. |

Jen graduated from Kennebec Valley Community College with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. She has over ten years clinical experiance in outpatient Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation, as well as Home Health care settings. Jen enjoys promoting overall health gains and improved strength levels in patients of all ages by utilizing manual therapy and personal home exercise programs.

Barbara graduated from Kennebec Valley Community College in 2005 with her Associates Degree in applied science as a PTA. She has one year experience at Stillwater Rehab Healthcare. She then joined the team here at Results Physical Therapy, she has been here since 2006. “My past experience was working at a Shoe Factory for 21 years! After the closing of the factory I had the opportunity to change my career field and chose physical therapy. I truly am glad I made that choice. Working with all ages of the population is very rewarding, when I make a difference in their lives by helping them with activities of daily living and decreasing their pain.”

Michelle graduated from Becker College and has over 15 years of experience as a PTA. She has worked in many different settings in Maine and North Carolina from acute inpatient, sub-acute rehab, nursing homes and outpaitient therapy. She has also managed several departments and helped start many different programs. Her specialties include aquatics, geriatrics, manual therapy and wound care. |

Sandra is a graduate from Rhode Island but spent most of her years attending Dexter schools. Sandra spent 20 years working with children and is qualified as a Behavioral Specialist I. She is a member of Maine Roads to Quality and received a Child Development Associates Degree from Washington D.C. She joined Results Physical Therapy in January of 2008 as a receptionist. Sandra is happy changing her career at this point in her life, and she enjoys welcoming patients in Dexter with a warm and friendly smile!!!
